Departure and arrival times may vary due to weather conditions.

                           Check-In Times

Vehicles must be checked in and staged in the terminal lanes
one hour prior to departure. Space may be released to
stand-by vehicles if you are not checked in and staged one
hour prior to scheduled sailing time.

Walk on passengers must be checked in one-half hour prior
to sailing.  Seats will be released to stand-by passengers if you
are not checked in and ready to board, one half hour
prior to scheduled sailing time.

VETERANS TRANSPORTATION GRANT AWARDED

The State of Alaska Dept of Military & Veterans Affairs
has included the IFA the their new Veterans
Federal Transportation Grant Program.

Effective immediately, the IFA is authorized to issue both
Passenger and Vehicle travel to Veterans when traveling in
conjunction with healthcare needs.

To qualify for this no-cost program, you must present
positive Veterans Affairs, U.S Armed Forces (Retiree),
Veterans Choice Card, Alaska Driver license or State ID
with VA endorsement when traveling.

NEW DOCK IN HOLLIS 2015

The Inter-Island Ferry Authority is pleased to announce that the
State of Alaska is installing a new transfer bridge at the Hollis
Ferry Terminal in 2015. The new transfer bridge will be located
slightly west of the existing transfer bridge, and includes a covered
walkway for pedestrians. Work is scheduled to begin this spring
and be completed by August 2015.
We are pleased to announce that our regular scheduled ferry
service in and out of Hollis will continue through the construction
period, departing HYL at 8:00am arriving KTN at 11:00am then
departing KTN at 3:30pm and arriving HYL at 6:30pm.



CAUTION: Winter Travelers

Wet and icy conditions can be slippery; please be careful on
walkways and while driving. If you need assistance with boarding
or disembarking the vessel, we will be glad to help.
